Yes, in order for the ladder to be safe, it must be fully extended and each step secured so that the red buttons are fully visible. The ladder will not be safe to use if the steps are not completely secured and the fixing loaded incorrectly.

Telesteps does not recommend washing the ladder with solvents. Neither may the tubing be oiled. This will only make the ladder tacky and more dirt will adhere to the tubing, impairing the telescopic function.

A combi ladder is really three ladders in one. Use it as a free-standing stepladder with comfortable support for your legs or an extra handle. It can also be used as a traditional free-standing stepladder without the two extra steps projecting up. The final alternative is to use it as a leaning ladder. The ladder must be fully extended for all these alternatives. Consequently, you cannot stand the ladder on the stairs, for example. More information can be found in the section on combi ladders.
All ladders are certified for 150 kg.
A Telesteps ladder can be used between temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius and plus 60 degrees Celsius.
If your ladder lacks a rubber foot/rubber top, it must be replaced immediately with a new one to prevent dirt and dust entering into the ladder and impairing its function. New ones can be purchased from your dealer. See “Stockist” to find your nearest dealer.
When using the ladder at its full height, pull it out from the top step. On the other hand, if it is to be used at a lower height, start with the step that is at the desired level and pull the ladder from this step until all the steps are secured. See more under “Support” and “Instructions”.
If your ladder is sluggish, make sure you clean all the tubing with a soft cloth and lukewarm water. Then wipe the ladder dry. Read further under “Support” and “Service” if this does not solve the problem.
For safe use, the angle should be 75 degrees.
